The apartment was exactly as described and nicer than what you see in the pictures! The rooms were very spacious and our children reported that the pull out couch and chair were very comfortable. It fit our family of 5 more than comfortably. The apartment is just a few minutes walk from Kam 3 and a few more minutes from Kam 2! We used the ice chest and chairs every day - enough for everyone. Overall the place was well equipped and more than we expected. Management was also very communicative. We plan to rent this unit again next year!

A nice upgraded condo unit that has everything you need to cook and drink for 8 year olds. This apartment is accessible to three Kamaole beaches and we liked it better than all the other beaches we visited. Makena a beach is 15 minutes from this unit but this beach was not suitable for our families because of the strong currents and you have to pay a charge per person and vehicle. We paid the fee, spent only 15 minutes and went back to Kamaole Beach again. Luckily we can see turle at beach 3. This unit is also a 15-20 minute drive to the harbor where you board the snorkeling tour boats and a 45 minute drive to Kanapali Beach and the Luau we attended at the Sheraton. Overall we have enjoyed a lot at Kamaole Beaches.

This rental was perfect for our group (3 adults, 4 kids: 13 yrs, 11 yrs, 7 yrs and 4 yrs). The rental is exactly as pictured. The unit was clean and comfortable. Very close to Kamaole Beach Park III (about a 5-6 minute walk) and I love how they have an outdoor shower at the base of the property. It's on the second floor, so be prepared to carry your luggage up an outdoor staircase. Both bathrooms are shower only, no bathtub. There are plenty of sheets, pillows and pillowcases, as well as bath towels. The kitchen is fully equipped, including glassware of all sizes. The beach equipment was well equipped, although we did not have a fridge (which is listed as part of the beach equipment). I contacted the owner about it, and within the same day, they brought me a brand new refrigerator. We arrived at the rental around 7-8pm. in the evening, so when we stopped by the main office to get a parking pass, they were closed. The next morning, there was a note on the rental vehicle saying to stop by the office during business hours to pick up the parking pass. Since we were going out before they opened, I contacted the owner to let them know about it and they kindly offered to leave the parking pass with the fridge. Regarding parking, we were able to park our vehicle very close to our unit everyday. A few things that need improvement: The AC in the living room didn't really help cool the room. Even with the ceiling fan on, it wasn't as cool as we would have liked it to be. AC units are very loud in both bedrooms but cool the rooms just fine. Even the ceiling fans were good enough to cool the bedrooms. The beach towels provided are the quick dry type (4 provided, plus 2 other "towels", but they were more like beach mats as they were much stiffer). So if you prefer the traditional beach towel, bring your own. They provided laundry detergent powder, but bring your own containers of laundry detergent if you prefer. Also, bring your own dryer sheets for the dryer as they don't provide them. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Overall a great place to stay, great location, spacious / recently renovated apartment! The air conditioning was a bit too loud, some of us had trouble sleeping with the sound. Also, the pans/pots are too small for a crowd of six. We noticed broken beach umbrellas and reached out to Management and they were extremely quick and helpful and brought replacements within 2 hours. Same with extra sheets/blankets. We deliver on request. I highly recommend this place for a family with kids/party of 4-7 ppl I only wish the kitchen had a few more pots/pans available.

We were very pleased with the location, proximity to the beach, and VRBO status. The unit was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The beach across the street was as perfect as it gets. We got to swim near the turtles every day. VRBO spaces have been meticulously maintained. Everyday there were people cleaning the pool and landscaping. The patio was nice to sit in the mornings eating breakfast. The pictures on the website accurately represented this property. I would highly recommend this unit.

We had a great time and the place was everything it said it was. Most were impressed with his response time. Very clean I will only list cons which aren't big cons at all... need a better pot set but we bought a new one and left for the next guest. Wish it had a bigger sofa for the family to gather around or add another chair to the living room. We made it work... but everything else is what you need! Lots of gas grill beach chairs and tons more. Overall the best host you could ask for

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great -- right across the street from the beach, walking distance to lots of food and beautiful pool in the complex. The apartment itself is beautifully appointed and everything was first class. Thanks for helping us have a great family vacation!

Mr. Kim is an extremely responsive host. The apartment is extremely nice and updated. A short walk from the beach and overlooks one of the pools. Absolutely amazing time and hope to stay there again in the future.

Nice apartment in a great location. Appreciated the beach chairs, fridge, boogie board and local recommendations. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night from the balcony or across the beach.

So the location, amenities, decor are all top notch. The sunset view from the patio...fantastic. Beach gear including chairs, umbrella, towels, boogie boards and even snorkel gear….couldn't ask for more. But the pull out sofa beds… were incredibly comfortable! Tell your mother-in-law or your teenagers not to worry, they'll probably sleep better here verses their own beds! Thank you again for the stay! Oh…and the referral site is pretty cool too!

The property came as shown. Beautiful, modern amenities. A few very minor things were dealt with quickly by the super responsive owner. Grade A experience for my boys 12 & 14 first time. 6 of us in total. 4 kids loved the fold out couch and the downstairs seating. I slept more every night there, although it had a great bedroom with a king-size bed. Would definitely come back. Mahalo

We love how everything is exactly as advertised. The apartment is beautifully renovated, the decor and appliances are great, and the beds are comfortable. Only a few minor issues... -AC in the bedrooms is perfect, but in the living room it wasn't as cold as we would have liked. -The remote control for the downstairs ceiling fan also controls the upstairs fan. So we had to constantly compete for the room downstairs.-We like the parking that was there, but we wish we had been told at check-in to get a parking pass from the desk. We found a note on our windshield on the 3rd night saying we need to get our car registered or risk it being towed. Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family visiting Maui.

The place was great! Great communication from outgoing management. They always made sure we had everything we needed. Very nice and quiet!

Our family enjoyed the location and recent renovations. Very clean on arrival. Plenty of coolers, sunbeds and umbrellas. Everything was as advertised. Small issue for us was the volume from the air conditioners and the kitchen and living room area didn't get as cool as we like cooking with what's there at the moment. The bedrooms were nice but also loud.

First of all, the pictures are very accurate. We loved every bit of this well kept updated apartment. The view from the balcony was on the pool and you could see a bit of the beach. Great location outside of S. kihei and close to everything. We were only a 5-10 minute drive from Wailea and a 25 minute drive from the airport. Loved the kitchen and the boys were quite comfortable on the pull out couches. The only problem we had was with the AC unit in the living room. It was hot two nights and we couldn't get the room to cool down. The room is too big for the wall unit. But other than that, it was great. Beach towels were provided and the kitchen amenities were excellent.
