Stay here and you won't regret it. The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. You can contact him anytime on WhatsApp for any help. The property is small and very cute. We even got a free room upgrade because someone wanted to stay longer. The only thing I will mention is that the neighbors dog barks a lot at night while they are out and sometimes in the morning. The neighbor also collects bottles for recycling so it was quite loud outside the window in the mornings. There was also a strange "bathroom" smell at night that filled the room, but it didn't come from our room. I couldn't figure out why or where it came from. Overall still very happy with our experience and all the pros outweigh the minor cons. The property is lovely and in a great location with complementary bikes for daily use.

Mahogany Bay Beach Resort is amazing. The rooms were lovely, comfortable and spacious. The resort is clean and the people on the property are amazing!!! If you are looking for a place where you can relax with your family and enjoy good food and drinks, this place is it! Everything on the food menu was delicious and I fell in love with this pepper sauce. Well done to the chef and everyone involved in the kitchen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were delicious. My favorite was the ceviche and the tamales with poached egg and pork.. All the waiters were so kind and helpful, they should all be appreciated, but I can't remember all their names. I think Joshua was my waiter. Let's talk about the people at the bar. Happy hour 2 for 1 deals hit daily. Hopefully I'll still have it on my next visit. Oscar, Oscar, Oscar!! He makes the best drinks!! He was friendly and kept our drinks coming on time. Sharon, Rachel, Ryan, Tonya from the bar!! Thank you too. Rachel was the first person I met and she gave me a great hibiscus drink and a laugh. He made me feel welcome. The private beach makes this resort worth every penny. You take a private boat to the property's private beach, the ride there is fun and the view is beautiful. I loved the private beach, the water is so clear and it's nice to be able to paddle, kayak and enjoy other activities. All the staff from the beach were helpful and the food was good there too. Just go check this place out and if you are debating booking a stay here, just do it!! Closed! The resort is beautiful thank you!!
